Pelicans Forward Anthony Davis spoke with the New Orleans media on Monday about his offseason workouts, the additions of Coach Gentry and signing a long-term extension with the team.
Walk us through your thought process surrounding your extension. What was said at that dinner table that made you feel comfortable and confident in the direction of this franchise?
“Well, a couple of things. I love living here in New Orleans. I love playing for the city. I love the city and I just felt comfortable here. I like the team. I like the direction we’re heading in.
