January 28th started another saga of a disgruntled superstar wanting out of his current contract. On that day, news come out that Anthony Davis would not re-sign in the 2020 offseason with the New Orleans Pelicans and wanted to be traded sooner than later. That sent the NBA media in a frenzy with speculation about where AD could end up. Lakers? Clippers? Celtics? Who would win Davis’ services?
Davis said all 29 teams are on the table. This was probably just him trying to say the right things in the heat of the situation.
