One-half of the Los Angeles Clippers’ starting backcourt duo will be back on the court Wednesday, as Doc Rivers said in pregame at the Smoothie King Center that Chris Paul is available. Shooting guard J.J. Redick, however, will miss a second straight game. Paul is expected to return after he had missed the last three Los Angeles games, all losses.
“Chris is going to play,” Rivers said.
Paul had a recent game in which he was a late scratch. Asked if that is possible again, Rivers didn’t indicate it was likely, saying, “He has about 45 minutes to change his mind, but I think it’s a go.
