Despite a slow start to the season, can Jrue Holiday live up to the hype?
Over the course of eight games, we have seen Jrue Holiday revert back to being passive and indecisive when it comes to knowing when to attack a defense.
Even though he’s had good games against the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers, his play still leaves us head-scratching. His physical ability and scoring potential have never been questioned. It’s simply how he doesn’t perform at this level night in and night out.
Just the thought of him playing aggressively on a consistent basis leaves not only me, but I’m sure fellow Pelicans fans, yearning for the stretch where he finally sets the NBA ablaze and is regarded as one of the premier top guards.
