Hardware continues to roll in for New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Buddy Hield. ESPN announced that Hield won the ESPY for Best Male College Athlete this evening after the telecast ended. Hield brought home the James A. Naismith Trophy and the Oscar Robertson Trophy for player of the year earlier in the spring. A two-time Player of the Year winner for the Big XII conference, Hield averaged 25 points and 5.7 rebounds a game for the Oklahoma Sooners while leading them to the Final Four for the first time since 2002.
