NEW YORK – For the first time since the 2013-14 season, “The World’s Most Famous Arena” will get to see one of the NBA’s most well-known players perform. New Orleans Coach Alvin Gentry told reporters at Madison Square Garden this morning that Anthony Davis (right hip contusion) will return to the lineup against New York, after missing the first two games of this road trip, defeats in Atlanta and Toronto.
“He’s going to play today,” Gentry said of the 11 a.m. Central tip-off. “Obviously we’re a better basketball team when he’s on the court. We’ve got to still try to create space for him.
