New Orleans four-time All-Star Anthony Davis was limping noticeably at times during Saturday’s loss at Washington, then was listed on Monday’s injury report as questionable, but the 23-year-old will play tonight against the Phoenix Suns. Davis has been dealing with a right quad contusion that appeared to impact his running significantly vs. the Wizards.
“He’s sore,” Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry said. “It’s just one of those nagging injuries, any time your thigh has an opportunity to tighten up when you’re cooling down. But he’s going to play and give it a shot, and we’ll see what happens with it.
