New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis continues, impossibly, to rise. Recently released odds for this season's MVP place Davis second, at +400, behind LeBron James (+275) of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Rounding out the top five are Kevin Durant (+550), reigning MVP Steph Curry (+600), and last year's runner-up James Harden (+700).
Last year Davis finished fifth in MVP voting behind Curry, Harden, James, and Russell Westbrook. Along the way AD averaged 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and a league leading 2.9 blocks per game.
