NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis is out for Saturday's home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after sustaining a right foot injury during pregame warm-ups, the New Orleans Pelicans announced.
This is Davis' seventh missed game this season. He injured his left knee while trying to block and avoid Russell Westbrook in Thursday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder but did not miss a play and determined himself "fine" afterward.
The All-Star big man is in the midst of one of his best stretches of the season, with a career-high 59 points and 20 rebounds in a win Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.
