Anthony Davis not named to 2016 All-NBA Team: loses $24 million over life of next contract

The league announced today the list of players who were selected for the 2016 All-NBA teams and Anthony Davis' name was glaringly absent from all three teams. He finished with 76 points (1 first place vote) to join James Harden, Paul Millsap and Al Horford as the top four players excluded from the prestigious award.

For most fans, the bigger chunk of news is that Davis has now officially failed to qualify for the "Rose Rule." In effect, he will make $120 million dollars over the span of his upcoming contract, not $144 million.
