NEW ORLEANS – The NBA announced today that New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, November 14 through Sunday, November 20. Davis led the Pelicans to a victory in all three games he appeared in (3-1 overall), averaging a league-best 33.7 points, leading the West with 13.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks, and adding 2.0 steals (seventh in the West). Davis posted two point-rebound double-doubles and registered two or more blocks in all three games.
With back-to-back wins on 11/18-19 (vs. POR and CHA), Davis helped New Orleans accomplish the task of two wins in two nights for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
