Anthony Davis listed as questionable for Orlando game due to right quad contusion

ORLANDO – One of Anthony Davis’ primary goals entering the 2016-17 regular season was to play in all 82 games. Despite a few bumps and bruises, it’s been so far, so good through 11 games, with the three-time All-Star appearing in every contest. That run of perfect attendance is in jeopardy Wednesday, however – a few hours prior to tip-off in Central Florida, the Pelicans announced that Davis is listed as questionable to play against the Magic, due to a right quad contusion. After Monday’s win vs. Boston, Davis said the injury was painful, one that many basketball players have experienced when they are kneed or elbowed in that area of the leg.
