Anthony Davis leaves the game due to injury, Pelicans fall 94-87 to Toronto Raptors

New Orleans just can't have nice things.

The BoogieBrow era hit yet another speed bump on Wednesday night as they lost to a depleted Raptors team because they struggled to put the ball through the hoop. Sound familiar? I sure hope so since it’s become a rather sickening pattern since the All-Star break.

Toronto, playing without Kyle Lowry, defeated the Pelicans by a final score of 94-87. The Pelicans again started a game strongly but slowly fizzled out over the course of the remaining three quarters.

If you think about it, the in-game collapses have become rather synonymous with how things have played out since DeMarcus Cousins’ arrival.
