Anthony Davis Injury: Updates on Pelicans Star's Recovery from Knee Surgery

After missing 21 games last season due to knee and shoulder injuries, New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis is expected to be healthy for the start of the 2016-17 NBA regular season.

Davis Expected to Be Fully Cleared

According to John Reid of the New Orleans Times Picayune, Pels general manager Dell Demps said the expectation is that Davis will be fully cleared with no medical restrictions prior to the beginning of the campaign.

Per Reid, Davis underwent knee surgery in March, and he also dealt with a torn labrum in his left shoulder that didn't require surgery.
