Early Thursday morning, news arrived that Anthony Davis is fully healed of all his various maladies, and will be healthy in time to be with the New Orleans Pelicans as they begin the 2016-17 NBA regular season against the Denver Nuggets on October 26th.
Near the end of last season, Davis was shut down to undergo treatment for a tendinopathy and stress reaction issue in his left knee. We later found out that the knee problems had lingered since the beginning of his career, but he had forgone treatment to be better available for the Pelicans and his other basketball obligations, including a Team USA appearance in 2014.
