ORLANDO – Saying that his team’s roster may not be at full strength potentially until January, Pelicans Coach Alvin Gentry indicated during pregame Wednesday at Amway Center that Tyreke Evans’ timeframe to return from right knee surgery could be 6-8 weeks.
“I don’t know exactly,” Gentry said, when asked if he has a specific timetable. “They give six to eight weeks. If you know Tyreke, if there’s any way to get back earlier, he’ll do that. But I know that he’ll be back as soon as he possibly can. He loves to play. He can play in pain.
