A big night from Jrue Holiday
Finally, after wondering when the Jrue Holiday Pelicans fans knew and loved would show up, he did it tonight. Holiday played stellar in the first half, putting up 24 points on 10-12 shooting, but he then disappeared for most of the second half, not scoring again until near the end of the game.
But he made up for his vanishing act in a big way by scoring 12 points in the final minutes after starting the second half 0-7. He took over the game when the Pelicans needed someone to take charge and help them hold on in a very tight game, showcasing his experience and skill in equal measure.
