There are a lot of things that go into selecting your daily fantasy basketball lineups.
Injuries, minutes, Usage Rates, rotation changes and projected point totals are among the many different factors that come into play when drafting your team. Another common factor is Defense versus Position, or DvP.
DvP is exactly what it sounds like -- a ranking of each team's defense against a given position, in terms of fantasy points allowed. I've found this to be a very useful tool.
I don't like reading too much into that though. Why? Because a practice as simple as exploiting an exploitable defense is sometimes overlooked in favor of something like DvP.
