With the 2022 NBA Draft just days away, there’s a growing consensus on several prospects to the New Orleans Pelicans at the eighth overall pick.
Although ESPN’s Jonathan Givony selected Shaedon Sharpe, much of the rest of the industry mocked either Dyson Daniels or Bennedict Mathurin to the Pelicans this past week.
Our very own Ricky O’Donnell of SB Nation wrote that Daniels makes the most sense for the Pelicans.
Daniels has the potential to be a lockdown defender who can smother smaller guards with his quick feet and agility.
