The New Orleans Pelicans have elected to sell the 52nd pick, acquired yesterday by trading away Tim Frazier, to the Indiana Pacers. This will, in part (or possibly entirely?), help pay for the move to trade up from the 40th overall pick and select Frank Jackson with the 31st pick from the Charlotte Hornets. Cash considerations is back!

In the end trading away Tim Frazier gains the Pelicans a roster spot, cash considerations, and possible cap space but only if Jrue Holiday elects to leave in free agency.
