In the second round of the NBA Draft GMs no longer target needs, or at least they should avoid it at all costs. The hope is simply to find an actual NBA player, one that can stick in the league. Finding one that provides plus production, as Malcolm Brogdon did for the Milwaukee Bucks this season, would be nice but the possibility is slim. Brogdon was my favorite for the Pelicans in the second round of the 2016 draft and a player of similar makeup is my target again this year.
