The New Orleans Pelicans have reached an agreement with restricted free agent Tim Frazier according to Sham Charania of The Vertical. Frazier joined the Pelicans after the All-Star Break on a pair of 10 day contracts before signing for the remainder of the season due to the waves of injuries that besieged New Orleans. In 16 games with New Orleans last season Frazier averaged 13.1 points, 7.5 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game while posting an impressive (and potentially unsustainable) 19.1 PER.
This signing is an absolute victory for the Pelicans front office, securing a reserve for Jrue Holiday at a ridiculously low price compared to the other deals handed out this summer.
