The NBA Lottery is over and the New Orleans Pelicans, like everyone else, stood pat in their pre-lottery position at 6th overall. Good news to those mock draft writers who have very little to change since their last updates just days ago. As many have said, this draft is pretty jumbled after the first two picks. The Pelicans pick in that second tier of players, and toward the back of the group.
Trades are going to be rumored for the next month until the draft occurs. Some trades might even be consummated.
