The New Orleans Pelicans had been waiting all day to get word on the status of guards Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday for Monday night’s Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors. Evans, who suffered a bone bruise on his left leg in Game 1, and Holiday, whose right leg was sore after his recent return from a stress reaction in that leg, were both game time decisions who would go through warmups before determining if they would play.
