Chad Ford's NBA Mock Draft 8.0 has the Pelicans utilizing their second round pick on a position of need.
In ESPN's final mock draft prior to the 2015 NBA draft, Chad Ford has pegged Aaron White heading to the Pelicans with the 56th pick of the second round. White is a 4-year player out of Iowa who averaged 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals during his senior season.
He was the only Division I player to average more than 16 points and seven rebounds a game while shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the free-throw line.
