B-
Dante Cunningham as a wing player should not at all have worked on offense. Considering that after this season Cunningham has 38 total three-point attempts to his name, and just two makes, the spacing should have crippled the New Orleans offense. Yet somehow it didn’t. While the Pelicans were better with Cunningham off the floor, New Orleans posted a 104.5 offensive rating with Cunningham on the floor, which would have tied with the Thunder for 11th in the league this season. He did it by shooting 42.6 percent from 16 feet to the three-point line, a spot that made up 56 percent of his shots this season per basketball-reference.
