2014-15 Player Reviews: Jimmer Fredette shoots his way out of the rotation

Jimmer Fredette was signed in the summer of 2014 for a 1 year guaranteed league minimum deal, this was a move by the Pelicans to fill out the roster for cheap bench guys. These deals are low risk with a possible high reward and for the Pelicans they got what they paid in Jimmer this year. He simply wasn’t that good in the minutes he got overall on the season, and this is why the Pelicans made sure to bring a solid back-up in at the trade deadline and signed Toney Douglas for the rest of the year after multiple 10 day deals.
