LAS CRUCES — Josh Adams made a layup with 45 seconds left and added a pair of free throws with six seconds to go to help the Wyoming men’s basketball team defeat New Mexico State 62-59 on Sunday night in front of 4,562 fans in the Pan American Center.
Pascal Siakam had 14 points, 15 rebounds, two steals and two blocks for the Aggies (5-4).
Adams scored 22 points for Wyoming (6-4).
Justin James’ 3-pointer with 11:10 left, gave the Cowboys a 48-33 advantage. But the Aggies capped a 16-3 run with an Ian Baker layup and were within 51-49 with 4:15 to go.
