Wyatt Recognized for Campbell Trophy

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State football redshirt senior Jared Wyatt is turning heads with more than just his play on the field.

The Aggie wideout was nominated for the prestigious National Football Foundation (NFF) William V. Campbell Trophy. The award is given to a collegiate football student-athlete with the best combination of academic success, community service and on-field performance.

Wyatt, who began his collegiate career at Bowling Green, caught seven passes for 139 yards (19.9 avg.) and a touchdown in his debut season as an Aggie one year ago. He made a season-high two receptions for a campaign-best 42 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown, at Central Michigan (10/12).
