Day three of action started with singles play first as defeated Camila Romero, the top-seeded player, from Oklahoma 6-4, 6-4 in consolation play. also saw action in the black singles draw, but couldn't fend off Colorado's Anabelle Andinopoulos 6-2, 6-4 in the third-place match.
beat out fellow newcomer in the seventh-place match in the gold singles draw 6-4, 6-4. Meanwhile, defeated Yue Chen from New Mexico in a hard-fought battle for third-place 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-3 in the silver singles draw.
