LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team was bested by the visiting Cowgirls of Wyoming Friday at the NM State Tennis Center.
The Aggies lost the doubles point to start the match, falling on courts No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, before Rebecca Keijzerwaard and Quinty Janssen were able to register a 6-2 victory over their counterparts on court No. 3, but Wyoming had already claimed the point.
NM State went down 2-0 after singles play began when Vanessa Valdez was defeated at the top singles position 6-2, 6-2.
