LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team completed the sweep of UT Permian Basin on Sunday alongside the men's program with a 7-0 blanking of the Falcons at the NM State Tennis Center.
The win pushed NM State to 10-12 overall on the year and has now reached double-digit wins in all but two seasons in the last 26 seasons (2012-13, 1990-91). The Aggies have now also won four of their last five matches heading into the Western Athletic Conference Championships, which NM State will be hosting April 28-30.
Doubles action went by fairly quickly with NM State only giving up four total points as a team.
