PARK FOREST, Ill. – The stars were aligned on Sunday for the New Mexico State women's tennis team as Lindsay Harlas, a Las Cruces native, clinched the match for NM State, giving the Aggies their first regular-season Western Athletic Conference title.
NM State (10-7, 5-0 WAC) finished off Seattle U (9-12, 1-4 WAC) in dominant fashion, 6-1, as it wrapped up conference play undefeated for the first time since the conference had six members.
With its No. 1 doubles team going down, New Mexico State's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles team came through and defeated SU's tandems on both courts.
