LUBBOCK, Texas. – The NM State men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Lubbock Texas this weekend for the Texas Tech open hosted by non-other than Texas Tech University.
The men are coming off a third-place finish at the Lori-Fitzgerald Open two weeks ago in Las Cruces, which saw a number of runner's make their collegiate debut. On the women's side, they are coming off a first-place finish at the Lori-Fitzgerald Open, which saw four runners finish in the top-ten.
This week, both teams faced the challenge of going up against some of the premier cross country programs in the country.
