Weather Shortens Ross Black Invitational

HOBBS, N.M. – New Mexico State track and field concluded its run at the Ross Black Invitational hosted by New Mexico Junior College on Saturday. Due to bad weather, the Aggies had a shortened day at the Ross Black Field of Champions.

Francis Hernandez took eighth in the 1,500m when she ran 5:21.56.

In the javelin, Kayli Farmer was the top Aggie finisher, placing third with a throw of 39.12m (128-4). Andi Harrelson (36.73m, 120-6) and Alyssa Covarrubia (34.78m, 114-1) followed in fourth and fifth, respectively.
