EL PASO — Ema Uskokovic recorded a match-high 16 kills to lead the 6-0 UTEP women’s volleyball team past rival New Mexico State 20-25, 32-30, 24-26, 25-22, 15-12 to wrap up the Springhill Suites Invitational on Sunday.
Shaney Lipscomb led NMSU (3-3) with 14 kills. Victoria Barrett added 13 kills, Lia Mosher had 11 kills and former La Cueva Bear Mari Sharp contributed 10 kills. Carly Aigner-Swesey led the Aggies with 28 assists and Alana Embry had 22.
