LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's track and field team travels to Albuquerque on Friday, Jan. 20 for the first day of the Cherry and Silver Invitational hosted by New Mexico.
"After a successful opener last weekend involving a small number of schools, this meet will be much larger with over 20 teams and schools represented and will be a greater competitive challenge," interim co-head coach Larry Carmichael said. "We will be interested to see how our ladies respond on a bigger stage."
In the first meet of the season, the Aggies finished third as a team with seven different individuals placing in the top three in their events.
