IOWA CITY, Iowa – The NM State swim team got things underway at the Hawkeye Invitational on Thursday morning as they competed in five events on the first of three days at the University of Iowa Aquatic Center.
The Aggies finished the day with several individuals turning in impressive performances to get started on the right foot. , and each posted times that ranked among the top eight in their respective events to score points for the Aggies.
Slee became the first Aggie to break the five-minute marke in the 500-yard freestyle as her time of 4:50.
