DENVER – UT Rio Grande Valley's Tae Itthiratchai and NM State's Alex Quihuis have been named TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Golfers of the Week, respectively, for March 4 through March 10.
Itthiratchai, a senior from Bangkok, Thailand, recorded his first top-10 finish of the spring to led UTRGV to the team title at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational in Spring, Texas. The senior shot a 1-under-par 215, including a 4-under-par 68 in the second round, to tie for fifth among 75 golfers.
