LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State women's basketball guard, Tamera William, was named the College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week on Monday after leading the women's basketball team through two games this past week, including a win over Battle of I-25 rival, New Mexico. The senior averaged 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals over 74 minutes of play.
This is the second College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week honor for an Aggies player this season as Brooke Salas earned the recognition last week.
William earned her first double-double of the season against New Mexico on Nov.
