CANYON, Texas - The New Mexico State track and field team got off to a great start Friday at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi, as the Aggies lead the field with 21 points after placing four athletes in the javelin throw.
Andi Harrelson posted her career-best finish as an Aggie, as she led the way in the javelin throw with a runner-up finish thanks to a throw of 40.83m. Bailey Beene and Mariah Humphrey were right behind her in third and fourth place. Beene had a solid toss of 40.
