Strong Showing in Day One of WAC Championships for NM State Swimming

HOUSTON – NM State Swimming and Diving put together a strong performance on the first day of competition at the 2016 Western Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships. The Aggies currently sit in third place going into the second day of competition.

"We head into tomorrow in 3rd place overall and today's momentum will just keep building all week," said assistant coach Rachel Judge. "We had some outstanding relay splits and MacKinna [Hauff] had a phenomenal final on 1 meter, moving from 8th to 4th place. Tomorrow is a strong day for us with the 500 free and 200 IM.
