ARLINGTON, Texas – NM State athletes added one more accomplishment to the list of the year's successes as the Western Athletic Conference announced Tuesday the final group of Academic All-WAC recipients.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-WAC recognition, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
With 54 new names appearing on the list of honorees today, NM State's total moved to 106 athletes to earn Academic All-WAC honors during the 2022-23 year, including 16 women's track and field athletes who earned honors in both the fall and spring seasons.
