LAS CRUCES, N.M.– The New Mexico State softball team started the season off on a high note as the Aggies defeated UTSA 9-1 and 4-1 on Saturday.
"It's always great to start the season with two wins," head coach Kathy Rodolph said. "We saw a lot of promise in a lot of areas."
First Game
UTSA jumped out to an early lead in the first inning. Pitcher Kayla Green gave up an early run to the Roadrunners designated player to give UTSA the 1-0 lead.
The Aggies found their groove in the 4th inning.
