Smith Shines on Day One of William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The fall season is officially in full swing for the NM State men's golf program. After 36 holes at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, the Aggies sit in a tie for place with Colorado. After the opening round, the Aggies were tied with in-state rival and tournament host New Mexico in fourth place, shooting 290 as a program.

Not only were there plenty of birdies, NM State had a couple of eagle sightings on Monday. Javier Delgadillo highlighted the Aggies' opening round when he sank an eagle on his 14th hole – The finale for his first 18.
