LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State men's basketball student-athlete Pascal Siakam and NM State softball's Victoria Castro have been named Aggie Male of the Week and Female of the Week, respectively, as announced Wednesday. The Aggie of the Week is presented by Subway.
Siakam was named the unanimous choice for WAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year after being selected as WAC Player of the Week an unprecedented five times this season. He was named First Team All-WAC and selected to the WAC All-Defensive Team. Additionally, he was honored by the US Basketball Writers Association as a member of their All-District VIII team.
