KANSAS CITY – The NM State women's soccer team saw its season come to a close Thursday afternoon at the Durwood Soccer Stadium as it fell to Utah Valley 2-0.
Possessing the ball was once again the crux for NM State as it got outshot by UVU 21-6 and held without a shot on goal the entire game.
Possession was very back-and-forth in the opening minutes of the first half between NM State and Utah Valley. Then, in the 12th minute of the game, the Aggies had trouble clearing the ball inside the box that UVU's Libby Weber took advantage of and sent into the back of the net.
