LUBBOCK, Texas - Mia Regan was the only champion on Saturday for the NM State track and field team, as the Aggies wrapped up the Masked Rider Open in Lubbock, Texas.
Regan ran a personal best in the 3000m steeplechase to earn her first gold medal as an Aggie. Regan ran a 11:58.30 to become the second Aggie to win the 3000m steeplechase this season.
Emily Stutesman also had a solid day for the distance crew, as she finished sixth in the 1500m run with a personal-best time of 4:45.
