NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced the all-conference teams on Wednesday afternoon. After a historic season in the City of Crosses, New Mexico State football saw eleven players named to the All-Sun Belt teams while one took home a postseason award.
Three Aggies earned first-team honors in 2017 led by wide receiver Jaleel Scott. The 6-6 wide out was named to the first-team offense after a senior season that saw him tie for the Sun Belt lead with eight touchdowns and 73 receptions. Scott was also second in the league with 1,042 receiving yards and 18th nationally heading into the bowl season.
