Prince's Career Night Not Enough for @NMStateWBB

EL PASO, Texas – Aaliyah Prince scored a career-high 25 points but the New Mexico State women's basketball team fell in overtime to Battle of I-10 rival UTEP, 81-73, at the Don Haskins Center on Wednesday night. This was the second-straight meeting between the two teams to go to overtime.

The Aggies (1-2, 0-0 WAC) raced out to a 24-17 lead after one quarter behind 14 first-quarter points from Prince. After a pair of three pointers from Soufia Inoussa gave the Aggies a 30-17 lead to start the second quarter, the Miners began to battle back and the Aggies led 42-34 at the break.
